The past month has been so busy, I have had very little time to blog. We have camped, got the boys all settled back in school, had a barn sale at our farm, I did a mini-trip to see my sweet “Mama Mo” in the Tri-Cities, took my Daddy to Dr. appointments and my Mama shopping, put on a baby shower for our friend Nikki, of course had multiple band practices here for both Dillon and Connor’s bands, and then of course just the day to day upkeep our house and farm. We finally replaced our dryer, since winter will soon be setting in and outside drying will no longer be an option. Anyway, coupled in with all of this, I have managed to do some amazing junking . . . afterall, a girl has to have her priorities!
The darling chair just melted my heart . . . if only I could do rust in my house! It is so full of charm, I could just eat it up. The amazing green farm table makes me swoon a little as well! And then look at this load of goodies found at an outdoor estate sale . . . the woman had been a hoarder (literally) and my friends put on the sale as a favor to her kids, who are really overwhelmed by this place (you would understand, if you saw inside this place!) But I was so thrilled with my old iron beds and other great finds, I had to snap a picture! There is also a great dresser that didn’t make it into the picture, that I will be redoing soon.
We will be having another sale here at Past Blessings Farm on Oct. 14th and 15th from 9 to 5 both days. It will be stuffed full of great finds . . . so much more than what I am showing you now. If you are interested in any of these pieces or are searching for a specific piece, send us an email at
. We love to custom paint pieces as well!
